My name is Nisha Bhalla and I’ve been working in healthcare strategy operations for over 15 years. I started my career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and then transitioned to healthcare when I joined the strategy team at New York Presbyterian Hospital. I’ve spent time in various healthcare provider systems including New York Presbyterian Hospital, Texas Health Resources in Dallas and Northwell Health in New York. My roles there were focused on strategy, patient engagement, patient safety and operations.
Additionally, I have enjoyed a few intra and entrepreneurial roles in various organizations. Specifically, I worked at CVS Health in their new product innovation group where I built the competitive product to Pillpack – a multidose packaging program focused on adherence, and this started with an acquisition of a small pharmacy but included everything from go-to-market strategy to product launch in the Northeast area. I also recently founded a private equity-backed ophthalmology company in the Northeast where we provided management services to independent ophthalmology practices.
Currently, I am the founder and CEO of Sweeten Health – a chronic care management platform focused on delivering care management services to patients. Our goal is to increase access to providers while allowing providers to be reimbursed for this additional support.
